Women's Ohel Trip

Women's Ohel Trip
Join us for a special women’s trip to the Ohel.

Date: Monday, Sept. 14
Time: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

We will visit the Ohel during the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, a particularly meaningful time in the Jewish calendar. The Ohel is the resting place of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Lubavitcher Rebbe, one of the most influential Jewish leaders of the modern era.

A visit to the Ohel during these days carries added resonance, as we bring our prayers, hopes, and commitments for the coming year into a space of holiness, clarity, and inspiration.

Prior to entering the Ohel, it is customary to write down personal thoughts, hopes, or challenges. Then, after entering, read them silently and then tear up your note and leave it at the site, a symbolic way of unburdening and focusing the mind.

Modest dress is expected, similar to visiting the Western Wall.

We look forward to sharing this meaningful experience together.
