Performing for Israeli soldiers in the Sinai Desert, the experience profoundly shaped both his life and his music.

As we gather during the week of October 7, Matti Friedman will share the remarkable story behind Cohen's journey, the war that left a lasting impact on Israel and the Jewish people, and the enduring themes of identity, resilience, and the stories that continue to shape us today.
